Exploring a full range of subjects – including the human form\, animals\, nature\, still life and landscape – students are introduced to creating more three dimensional and realistic artworks through the use of shading\, perspective and composition. As they begin mastering techniques and media\, students are encouraged to develop their own style and creative approach\, with a continued focus on visual training\, planning and process. Media includes: chalk and oil pastels\, markers\, graphite and colored pencils\, watercolors and acrylic paints. (Ages 13+)

In this engaging class\, students learn fundamental art elements \, including line\, shape\, texture\, color\, value and space by drawing their favorite animals\, characters\, still life\, vehicles and more. Students are taught drawing skills and media techniques; however\, each student works with his or her own vision to produce unique finished pieces.
