“NO PAINT” Painting Workshop

Join guest Mixed Media Artist Shelley Reimer for a fun and relaxing NO PAINT -Painting Workshop.

What does this even mean?
Are you intrigued with painting a landscape, or a certain scene or even creating an abstract painting…but you are not so sure about the actual PAINTING part?

This class is for you!
You will see samples of artwork created entirely from other materials and supplies and you will be guided to explore your own creativity using some basic concepts and supplies provided for you. Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy as you dive into creative play!
We will be using a combination of repurposed and new items with room to add your own creativity and flare! Mixing and matching your materials into unique combinations is all part of the fun!

Please bring the following with you to class:

• An apron or work shirt that can get dirty

Shelley Reimer grew up on Bainbridge Island and draws inspiration from the Pacific Northwest and surrounding aquatic life to create color rich paintings and multi-media art, with a focus on using repurposed items. Shelley is primarily drawn to watercolors, beach scenes and anything with trees and leaves. Shelley feels that the fluid nature of many of her pieces has grown out of her more than 40 years of competitive swimming experience and from so many years of practicing the art of massage therapy.
Her art can be found locally in several shops and public spaces on Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo, WA.
