Homeschool Art Class

Description

This class is the perfect bridge between our Level 1 & Level 2 classes. It teaches older beginners to trust their artistic instincts using the same step-by-step structure as our younger classes.
Students learn fundamental drawing and painting concepts as they gain confidence building skills to make their own artistic decisions. Students in this class will advance their proficiency by bringing more three-dimensionality and realism to their work. Emphasis is placed on shading, perspective, composition and developing a finished piece. Media includes: chalk and oil pastels, markers, graphite, colored pencils, watercolor and acrylic paints.

Options for 2024-2025:

• Wednesdays (10:00 – 11:00 am)

Online students will be able to interact with their instructor in real-time and receive feedback all from the comfort of their own home. Once you have registered, Kitsap Art will send an email with detailed instructions on how to access the class each day as well as a list of supplies that will be required.

For those wanting to enroll, but who cannot attend the live class, recordings of each lesson can be provided each week with tuition.

School Year Classes meet once a week throughout the academic year, September through June. Tuition is due the first of each month. All students are considered actively enrolled in the school year program upon date of registration unless a two-week written notice is provided.

• Homeschool programs pay monthly; if paying tuition without PEARL/OASIS please contact office to learn about trimester/full-year discounts.
