Description
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is closed. The 2025-2026 school year will open for registration on August 1st.
This flexible class not only provides advanced students with the opportunity to begin working more independently, but also offers beginning students in this age group guided drawings as needed. Exploring a full range of subjects – including the human form, animals, nature, still life and landscape – students are introduced to creating more three dimensional and realistic artwork through the use of shading, perspective and composition. As they begin mastering techniques and media, students are encouraged to develop their own style and creative approach, with a continued focus on visual training, planning and process. Media includes: chalk and oil pastels, markers, graphite and colored pencils, watercolors and acrylic paints.
