Description

Registration for 2023-2024 School Year Program opens August 1st. Classes will begin the week of September 11, 2023.

This class is the perfect bridge between our Level 1 & Level 2 classes. It teaches older beginners to trust their artistic instincts using the same step-by-step structure as our younger classes.
Students learn fundamental drawing and painting concepts as they gain confidence building skills to make their own artistic decisions. Students in this class will advance their proficiency by bringing more three-dimensionality and realism to their work. Emphasis is placed on shading, perspective, composition and developing a finished piece. Media includes: chalk and oil pastels, markers, graphite, colored pencils, watercolor and acrylic paints.

Online students will be able to act with their instructor in real-time and receive feedback all from the comfort of their own home. Once you have registered, Kitsap Art will send an email with detailed instructions on how to access the class each day as well as a list of supplies that will be required.

For a successful class experience we ask that you have a strong internet connection and have access to a computer, tablet or smartphone (android or iOS) that is microphone and camera enabled. School Year Classes meet once a week throughout the academic year, September through June. Tuition is due the first of each month. All students are considered actively enrolled in the school year program upon date of registration unless a two-week written notice is provided.

Annual Registration Fee:
A $15 annual supply fee is required per family. This fee is waived for military families, for one-time canvas classes/events or if you have paid the registration fee within the past 12 months.
